
Our Past Initiatives
In the past, our capacity building programmes have included Addas with a disciplinary focus either on conflict, policy and law with Justice Mr. Amitava Roy, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, Prateek Hajela on the National Register of Citizens, Dr. P. Ngully and Suhas Chakma on Policy, Law and Identity in Northeast India, Anup Chetia on ULFA and the peace process and P.C. Haldar on Reimagining Assam. Conversations have also been interdisciplinary, with artists, academics, lawyers and conservation architects. Such Addas have focussed on heritage conservation in Punjab and AFSPA led by Gurmeet Rai and Mr. Kamal Narayan Choudhury, research methodology by Moushumi Bhowmick and Neha Wadhawan, a performance led discussion on Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code by Mandeep Raikhy and Sidharth Narain and a film screening on the Nellie Massacre of 1983 titled 'What the Fields Remember' by Subasri Krishnan amongst others.
